This contest featured the new iPod Touch because of the music references in the novel and the NORTH STAR soundtrack made it virtually impossible not to have a contest based on today’s Pop and R&B hits.  So my ‘music and romance novel’ fan won a great a new iPod Touch so their year will be filled with great music.

This contest was inspired by the grand, fictional Mason Ball featured in North Star.  It was the night the leaders of the community came together in their finest clothes and committed their time and money to the youth programs of the Mason Community Center. I'm sure a few shutterbugs had Canon PowerShots that night so they could zoom in on their subjects or video record the memorable moments.
