Devine appeared for many years at the annual Wigstock drag festival and build quite a following. Devine didn’t have a drag queen mother to mold her into the fierce, extraordinary talent she is today. She never minds anyone mixing up the pronouns while addressing her. While slowly honing her talents in showmanship and entertainment on the club scene of Miami, where she jumped at the chance to be in the center of all that is gay! Devine works extensively with the LBGTQ community to raise money for HIV/AIDS charities and Breast Cancer Awareness events over the years. And she has won multiple Miss Miami Beach Gay Pride titles before Lady Elena Gin offer her showcase spot in her ‘Daring Dolls Review’. Lady Elena tried to ‘mother’ Devine but she could never let herself be vulnerable enough to let anyone fully in. She plays a mean game of basketball, makes it a point to never talk to the media about her personal life, and doesn’t drink alcohol. |
