Laila Marie Sheridan, the youngest sibling in the Sheridan family, is a fashion enthusiast with a penchant for shopping, and a natural flair for combining current and vintage trends to make a style of her own. She loves working at Psyche magazine with her brother and Gray Ryley because they push her to be the best in the industry, which is difficult with the old fashion guards overpowering new editors with strong voices. She desires a faithful partner to share her life with but has an unhealthy attraction for bad boys, much to the worry of her older siblings, Graham and Janet. To say her personal life is a bit hectic, would be an understatement. Her sister Janet believes she’s a passive commitment-phobic that dates bad boys from the onset, in order to sabotaging her relationship so it can never grow. Big brother Graham thinks Laila just isn’t ready for a real man and what's required to be his companion. Both may have a point, but secretly Laila hides the fact that she was ill prepared for their mother’s passing and suffered from grief for a long time. Today, holidays, birthdays or times of crisis cause her to withdraw and feel depressed about the loss. Her best friends and her brother, Latrell continue to help her deal with the hurt and help her mask the pain. |
