Background: Sole heir of Shelene, a peaceful kingdom with no army. Her parents are determined to protect their Kingdom by getting Maia betrothed to Oastomin to seal their alliance. She is determined to prove she is capable of defending Shelene on her own and she’ll marry in her own time. She is a gifted markman, a fast runner, and an expert mechanic so she's not a typical princess.
Family Ties: Daughter of King Colyte and Queen Cloviena. Her horse is a stallion named Sanibel.
Weaknesses (Achilles’ Heel): Not being the son her father always wanted. Maia has a tendency to be too rigid, and to become overly detail-oriented. She needs to remember to value other people's input and opinions.
