Sadira Elane Everett Mason is the wife of William T. Mason III and the mother of their only daughter, Yvette. She’s a model citizen, and pillar of the community. She takes their commitments seriously, and follows her own standards of "good citizenship" to the letter. Sadie enjoys interacting with people, just like her husband William, and likes to have fun. She is so much fun at social events, especially activities which are focused on the family, community, or work. She bonded quickly with William, the moment they met, and developed a strong love for community service that caused her to go back to school to get her master’s degree so she could learn how to be a better fundraiser for the center. When bogged down by stress, Sadie often feels isolated from others, misunderstood, undervalued, and that her efforts are taken for granted. This usually occurs during her busiest times of year, the holidays and before the annual Mason Ball. Although normally very verbal, when under stress, she has a hard time putting her feelings into words and communicating them to her husband. It always just comes out as the plead, “can you make some more time for me?” Her husband has become more in tuned to this type of covert call for help. Sadie values security and social order above all else, and feel obligated to do all that she can to enhance and promote these goals. She’ll plant flowers, vote, join the PTA, attend community meetings, and generally do anything she can to promote personal and social security and she loves how her daughter, Yvette, does the same. |
